Going under the hammer today, the Chris Schwarz Anarchists Toolchest is lot number 678 at the David Stanley tool auction and there are lots more rare and exceptional tools in the online catalogue here: http://www.the-saleroom.com.
You can sign up and bid online from the comfort of your own home - a bit like an upmarket version of ebay. Be aware though that instead of ebay and paypal fees there is a 15% buyers premium (normal for auction houses) and a 3% surcharge for online bids.
The contents of the tool chest are listed here: http://www.newenglishworkshop.co.uk/going-going/ It was built by Chris Schwarz at the first ever New English Workshop summer school last year and has been filled with donations of scrummy tools by just about everyone involved in the UK hand tool woodworking industry. All the proceeds will go directly to the furniture making department at Warwickshire college, whose generosity in providing a venue and technical support for the event made it possible.
