Hi this is my first post so please be gentle. Just reached retirement age (well a bit younger than that) and have bought a house to renovate for our retirement. I'm a very keen DIYer and want to take up woodwork again when the house is compete! So my question is...my kitchen is being made at the moment by a local cabinet maker, however to save some money I will be fitting (and painting) it. I need a tool to cut mitres for the cornice and the skirting boards. Do I need a sliding mitre saw? Will this be a useful tool to have in a woodwork shop? I will also be using a hand held jigsaw for the fillers bits (e.g. around the Belfast sink & between some cabinets). Could a bandsaw do both? Sorry for being dumb but I normally use a hand saw for everything! Cheers Rob
