Any body got a preference between these two table saws?

SIP 01930 10" Table Saw & the Jet(Axminster) JTS-10 10" Table Saw both around £180 :?

URGENT

If you could stretch your budget, I would sacrifice the 10" blade for an 8" and go for the axminster ts200. You could then buy the sliding carriage and/or extensions when funds permit. Cutting 3" timber on a small saw isnt much fun, and at least the axi is an induction motor and cast iron top. You could use it to make a stand for it, or even use a workmate.

Mmmm, I think you have a point there Marcros.
I don't need a stand as I have a base onto which it would fit.
This slides into a recess between my cabinets when not in use,
it used to be the base for my bandsaw before I down sized.

Cheers

+1 on the TS 200, although you will probably want to upgrade the fence or at least fettle it. There are lots of threads on fettling the TS 200 or the Kity 419 (which it is a clone of).
