hi guys do you have any good info on some replacement handles for my chisels i am looking for up to 8 i want to
replace the plastic on some very nice butt chisels any help would be good
or if you have some that you may want to sell then that would be good

The trouble with replacing plastic handles is that the chisel you have will probably not have an ordinary tapered tang and shoulder, so it won't go straight in to a bought wooden handle. This thread went into lots of detail about how to make your own if you really want to go ahead with this.

If you have access to a lathe, this is how I did it to replace some battered and unsavoury plastic Stanley handles.

The most difficult part, in my opinion, was getting the old handles off and fortunately on these chisels, the plastic was not ‘bonded’ tightly to the metal tang and I was able to drift it off in one piece. At worst you may need to cut above the tang and slice the plastic if it is seriously stuck on.

They are not my best tools, but make good 'second division chisels' and wood is much better than that horrible plastic for the handles.
