I do love watching people work with hand tools. It's amazing to see him assemble a joint that was cut right off the saw with only pencil lines, yet here I am farting about with pairing and router planes. :D

He makes some very valid points! especially about Brexit.

If you have any other chinese/japanese joinery channels, do share them!

Some of mine :

Dorian Bracht
DIY Japanese Joinery
Lemongrasspicker
Third Coast Craftsman
The Samurai Carpenter
Adrian Preda

Don't call him Japanese to his face, he probably wouldn't like that given he is Chinese.

I quite like this channel "Woodworking Tools", It's a Chinese channel I think but it is the total opposite of fine woodworking! It shows you what you can get away with when you don't have to conform to health and safety legislation. No guards on any of the machines, No dust extraction on any of the machines, Un-limited tooling in the machines, working barefoot, etc etc... But the product isn't of a terrible quality and some of their work is really rather quite good, to be honest.

I think it should go without saying, DO NOT even think about trying any techniques that they do, it would be detrimental to your health.

Have a look at Ishitani Furniture, he makes some lovely stuff.

I've been subscribed to him for a while, but thats not really hand tools.
He uses Japanese chisels and handplanes extensively.
