I've already completed it this time, but interested to find out better ways for next time.
A wall cabinet (bookcase could have same design): sides and back had dados routed in to fit 4 shelves. Top and bottom fit between the sides and back is inset.
The challenge with snug dados was getting the 4 shelves into the 2 sides and the back. The first 2 components are easy enough but the hard one is where you're trying to locate all 4 shelves at the same time.
Went ok with a dry fit. But after glue applied it was a race against time to get it all assembled and alignment.
So, what assembly sequence or process do you use?
