Cabinet scraper

I want to buy a cabinet scraper but I'm not sure what I need, I will be using it on a variety of hardwoods, any help regarding make, thickness etc will be greatly appreciated.

My personal choice is a size of 5" x 2 1/2 " at about .8mm thick for general woodworking either Clifton or Pax.

Have you thought about a Stanley No 80? I will make it easier on the thumbs.

They can be had for about 15 quid from ebay.
