Buffing Machine Mops (Wheel)

New to buffing machine. Is there a difference between using a quality buffing machine mop and a cheap mop?
Material it is made from? I notice the term 'stitched 'mop--are there other types?
Use different grades of mop to build up the finish?
Would you use the same mop for both wood finish and metal? Separate mops?

Like most things good quality is better in the long run.

Caswell is a possible source for compounds and wheels. The Canadian site has information on it. I suspect the UK site might but couldn't find it quickly. Similar companies might also have the same kind of information.

If you contact the polishing shop and tell them what you’re planning on using it for they’ll recommend what you need
