Attached is 1 of 2 Carcass backsaw I recently completed. The tooth line is just under 12 inches long, and has been sharpened 12 tpi.

Regards; Stewie.

I like the way the plate curves up to the extra length at the back to put some meat around the handle fixing holes.

It's extremely beautiful, but surely that lambs tongue area is very thin and fragile, given the grain direction?

Thanks Richard.

Thanks for the kind feedback Richard. I have made a few slight changes to my saw making work to give each saw a more pleasing flow their shaping.

Regards; Stewie.

That is stunning.

I really like the flowing nature of the handle.

That would be on my Christmas list.

Mick

Pleased to hear you like the shape of the backsaw Mick.

Regards Stewie. :ho2
