Bronze wool ?

I was looking for some bronze wool to finish some oak designs I`ve been working on, does anyone know of any sellers in the uk for it ? I can only find US ones, obviously I could risk steel wool but I suspect that`s asking for trouble and black spots

really ? wouldn`t have thought it`d be tough enough for oak, also which ones there seems to be quite a lot of different forms, to clarify this is for the final finish going for a silky feel.

probably pumic+blo and briwax to finish, or I might try some osmo, though not sure I can use that with BLO (i like the colour it imparts).
