Breathable Membrane Question

Can anyone please tell me how to attach the breathable membrane to the timber frame (stud wall) before fixing the tile battening?

Or a staple gun or a normal stapler or some clout nails or some double sided tape or you could try and hold it and baton it at the same time.

So basically anything but don't put too many penetrations through it as you'll negate its desired effect.

Yes, a staple hammer. Make sure that you get a good one though. I bought a Lidl/Aldi jobbie and it is rubbish. Very hit and miss. Staples jam, or bend without penetrating. It's very frustrating. Ray's on the other hand, works properly every single hit. They are not all created equal.
