Hi
I took some pics when I bought this saw planning to do a full review, but unfortunately haven't had time.
But this may still be useful to some people - it's loads of pics of the saw with some brief comments attached (prompted by this post):

Just a quick question, is the saw soft start or does it jump a few inches like my POS

I don't think it is soft start - well not like a router anyway. But there's no noticeable jump.

I've added this saw to the top of my list as it looks like what i need.

The cheap saw i use at the moment is a nightmare when it starts. The wood jumos over the place, but it was a cheap saw.

I'm sure I read that it had soft-start....

as long as it doesn't "jump" straight into it like mine does
