Trying to send photos to my PC and i get message saying passcode not had this before and have not got a clue what to do, her indoors is having the same problem.

Try 0000. It seems to be the default for a lot of devices, unless otherwise stated.

Bluetooth was always slow for data transfer, so I never use it. If your machine has a built-in card reader, I'd use that, or a cable connection.
