The green and wetter end of the M4.
Howard Leight Sync ear defenders + Sony SBH20 + inexpensive 3.5mm stereo male to male lead = bluetooth ear defenders for less than 50 quid. A days sanding has never gone quicker 8)

I did similar Nev but with a cheaper Bluetooth thing from China.

I stuck it on the side off my muffs with velcro so I could still reach the buttons. I'm gonna have to research your earmuffs, mine are getting a bit temperamental ;)

So I'm wondering if I can get the Workshop Macbook Pro to push the output from Spotify to those little beauties. If so I'll buy 'em tomorrow.

I have the same ear defenders (in fact, I liked them so much I got a pair for work as well so I couldn't hear my boss' loud phone calls) but I never had a problem just running the included cable down the inside of my shirt to my phone in a hip pocket. What's the benefit of the bluetooth?

You may need a bluetooth dongle for your laptop depending on how old it is but yes very doable for not a lot of dosh :)

Only real benefits are not having a pocket full of phone and not getting tangled with cables when juggling glasses, dust masks and ear defenders. Oh and being able to listen to any bluetooth enabled device within range e.g the laptop.

Btw the range is pretty good in an open workshop ,10 to 15 metres? Not so good with walls in the way though down to 5m or so then.

They also make for very close neighbour friendly headphones too - not letting out the music almost as well as not letting the noise in.
