Hi folks.

This is new territory for me so be gentle

Has anyone here got a powercraft PFZ 400RN and if so can they tell me whether it can be modified to take pin less blades ?

Main thing I will be cutting is shapes out of 6mm and 9mm MDF so any pointers on blade choice would be helpful, pinned or pin less and also where to purchase them from.

Thanks

Steve :)

Hi Steve,
I have sent you a PM with regards to the blades.

The saw comes with universal adapters so that pinless blades can be used.

Regards

Vic

Thanks for the replies and if you haven't already guessed I've bought the scroll saw off Vic, just got to go and pick it up.

Thanks

Steve

Hi, I know it's an old topic but thought I would add this.

I've just got a powercraft scroll saw and some adaptors mentioned above from axminster.

I can confirm that they do fit although I did have to modify the saw slightly to allow use of my reverse tooth blades.

By modify I mean cut a little out of the thin metal above the lower arm for clearance.
The bottom bracket had to be mounted on top of the lower arm for the bottom set of reverse teeth to protrude above the table top.

Hope this helps future queries.
