As an O2 customer I get preferential access 2 days before they go on sale. My daughter wanted 2 tickets front stalls if poss for the Manchester show on either of 2 nights at £85 each.
As the site became live at dead on 9.30 this morning I clicked the link which put me in a 'waiting room' with a countdown clock that continuously re-started itself at the 30 second mark. I clicked the link another 7 times so had 8 presences in the waiting room and just kept switching tabs to see if any had gone through. After 10 minutes I got through to find only 2nd tier seats available, which she declined, and which sold quickly.

After 20 minutes 2 nights sold out and tickets already on ebay for £150 upwards!! #inthewrongjob

EDIT: Now 10.15 and the 2nd tier £62 seats are up on ebay for £250!!!!!!

I notice lately ebay have put rules into place with big charity concerts etc that only x amount of tickets can be sold by 1 seller and a percentage of the final sale must go to the charity in question.

Also as long as the sellers of these tickets inc normal concerts etc list the actual face value of the tickets - they can charge what they like

It was the speed with which it all happened that amazed me. On sale at 9,30 sold out for 2 nights at 9.45 and on ebay.
