Bandsaw Wheels

Hi All,

I have an old Cooksley bandsaw with 2ft diamiter wheels which need their rubber tyres replacing!

Does anyone know of anywhere to get it done in the south east? I live near dartford so Essex Kent and london are all close.

If not has anyone used any other companies across the country that they could reccomend?

Hi Murrayeast and Katellwood. Perhaps you could indicate in your profiles, roughly where you live? It adds to the interest and might help others help you from time to time.

I will ring Scott and Sargent, and see what they can do!

katellwood, how do you find the guide set up on your machine? The cooksley has wooden blocks and a thrust bearing up top and a similar set up below the table. I must admit that its not the easiest thing to set up properly, however that may be due to the tyres being worn!

If I find anywhere I will let you know.
