Hi
Sounds like a tracking/drift problem.

What model is it?

You are in the right place - all you gotta do is get a bite from a Mr Maskery of this parish. He's your man. In the meantime as much info as poss is a good start. Do you have any experience of bandsaws?

How good is the fitted blade ? if it is not new and of a reasonable quality with even tooth set on both sides it will automatically pull itself to the side with most pronounced kerf clearance regardless to how well the blade tracking etc. is set up.

First step is to make sure you have a quality blade from someone such as Tuff Saws and see how that tracks.
If you still have problems and then if there is no one local to you who can have a look at the machine you could do a lot worse than investing in a Steve Maskey DVD to take you through the set up routines.

Thanks for the rec's guys.
Stephen, when you say "even when re-sawing" I wonder if you realise that that is a more difficult, not less difficult, operation than normal ripping.
In order to re-saw successfully, you machine needs to be in tip-top state, properly adjusted and set up, and be fitted with a good-quality blade of the right configuration. Email Ian at [email protected]. He will give you good advice on the most suitable blade for the job.
