A good tip when folding these things is to wear some leather gardening gloves - can be a little bit tingly on the fingers when you start to twist the blade - Rob

I would never handle bandsaw blades without having safety goggles on, those blades can snap and fly around anytime.

My problem is more one of unfolding new ones. They scare the doodah out of me so I tend to cut the ties and then just throw the blade on the floor to unfold! Why do they always seem to unfold themselves inside out though?

I don't bother folding them. Just hang 'em high up on a big hook
