Baize powder

Many moons ago in the 60s I worked for a company that made firescreens and other products. The bases were finished in what looked like a green baize. In fact this was achieved by painting with a green paint and then sprinkling a green powder over the paint. It was very effective. Is there anyone out their who knows where I might buy this powder product ? Cheers

I guess similar to a flocking powder

used for "toy" train or wargame bases
