Hi All,
I have the Axminster hobby series model FM 300 BC and it's been working great for 3/4 years. Over the last month or so I have noticed a suck drop so started to look at why and can't really work it out. I have a 4" standard Y into 6' spiral duct. The run is 6 m with three bends, as I said all was fine. Now it's struggling, there are no blockages and nothing has changed in the setup. During the process of trying to fix this, i have damaged or it disintegrated and therefore.
So i am looking for i need the seal pad (turbofan) but being told it's a 6-month wait - does anyone know where i could get one sooner?
Also any thoughts on why suction has dropped so much? could the motor be failing?
