Does anyone have the Axminster 100mm DE ducting who could give me accurate internal and external dimensions of the tubes and straight connectors? I managed to get hold of some 100mm downspout / pipe and would like to finally sort some De to my garage. I have checked it as best I can against a y connector and it is damn near Close to it. I am hoping that the connectors can be used to join the tubes together.

Many thanks

If you think you can, or think you cannot, you're correct.

The Axminster supplied items I have (Plastic) vary slightly.
External:
Blast Gates:- slightly tapered 98-101mm diam.
Dust hoods:- slightly tapered 100-103mm diam.

Treat your wife to a wine trip to France (supposedly), find a Brico depot or Leroy Merlin, soil pipe is 100mm dia as standard.

What are the internal measurements of the connectors I am assuming that they are needed to join the various bends etc to pipe?

French 100mm straight pipe comes with a female bell end to accept the next pipe or Y or T piece, these can be obtained to fit straight onto a cut piece of straight pipe, afraid I don't have any connectors to hand to measure, but will try to find out and post here.

Forgot to mention that the female end of a french 100mm pipe fits inside a ring seal 110mm UK pipe connector perfectly, also most French pipe is solvent weld.

Standard UK soil Pipe with so called 100mm flex hoses.

Both hoses so called standard 100 flex

The More rigid One will not compress enough to go in Pipe, only in socket.
Both Flex pipe types fit over Axminster plastic accessories.

Standard Waste Pipe with Axminster Plastic Hood fitting.

Good fit in Pipe.

Poor match in Socket.
