well it finally happened, adjutment screw on the top of the machine has snapped in half and the clamp tightener has fallen apart, maybe time to look for something else methinks..

told you not to go into the cabin without Annie to look after you .

dont know mate, i have the loan of a hegner until mine is fixed but i may need someone with knowledge of machines, know anyone :wink: :wink:

the tension lever and the blade clamp are knackered so i will have to send to america to get the new parts.
 
i think i may be struggling for parts frank, cant seem to find one of the parts i need, may have to butcher and bodge it up..
 
A bit late in replying but what is the tension lever made of /steel/cast steel

Can it be welded??
