Anyone near Liverpool that could pick up an item for me?

I was wondering if anyone is around Liverpool that could pick up an Ebay item for me and post it on, It's not heavy just some fabric.

Stupidly we bid and won the item and only after winning did we see that it was cololect only.

Obviously beer tokens would be offered

i cant help- I would if i was nearer.

have you asked the seller whether they would put it in a box and send. I find that it quite often works on ebay- some listings are restrictive on what they can charge for postage and people find it easier to put collection only rather than specify the service on offer.

Thanks. Yes, I've offered to send him a box to put it in and to arrange collection but haven't yet heard back from him.

I'll just wait and see what happens.
