The France/Trog game Sorry Welch game was a cracker

Would you mind explaining the term "Trog" in that sentence please? I think that I understand, but would like further clarification.

Cheers

Well, did anyone see the rugby to day??? How did the England game go?

I think you already knew, just wanted to rub it in.

Ah, maybe, yes. After a few celebratory pints I could not resist putting something up here. Its always great when the underdog wins.

p.s I cannot believe for a second that people here have answered your question? When its blatant that you are gloating.

:D  :D

I think I've sussed the Irish secret. Have a look at the replay on the 'I Player' and whenever the water carriers come on the English spit it out whereas the Irish swallow it and their pace picks up because it ain't water it's the elixir Guinness!

How many World Cups have Ireland won?

That's the best you can come up with? :)

Ireland played with passion and fire in their bellys, something England rarely play with. Bit like the cricket the other week when Ireland also won.

Nothing to do with it. Letting Ireland win is just being PC in the modern world.

Now... if they beat us at footy.... that's a different matter!!!!

Honestly... "Like the Murphys, I'm not Bitter".

Need I come up with anything more?

oh ok I will

5/6 nations championships won by England 26
5/6 nations championships won by Ireland 11

Grand slams won by England 12
Grand slams won by Ireland 2

World cups won by England 1
World cups won by Ireland 0

World cup runners up by England 2
World cup runners up by Ireland 0

And the overall stats

played each other 124 times

England have won 70
Ireland have won 45
and their have been 8 draws

well you did ask.

:D :D

Thanks for the stats Stato :)

A fine record considering population wise we're talking about 52m against 5m odd.

Yep, the footy was NI against England.

Can anybody explain this video? Something to do with England's kit sponsors and diving about the place:
