I am having a clear out in the workshop, and I have accumulated box of turning blanks/offcuts if anybody wants them. I was keeping them for tool handles etc, but there are only so many tool handles that I might ever make, and the 2012 total was 1! They are not huge in size, and are not the most exciting of species- ash, oak, bit of beech, maybe a few other bits. They would suit somebody new to turning with a smaller lathe, or an interest in making smaller objects. Some of the blanks are chunkier, but not bowl sized if that makes sense. If you want them, give me a shout and come and grab them- collection only and free to a good home!

no probs. I will get them gathered together over the next day or two.

Marcros, I am looking for someone in Leeds to turn me some parts. Can you or anybody you know help?

Regards Stephen

I had a look once before when I wanted some tool handles doing but never found anybody. There is bound to be somebody somewhere, but not on the forum it seems. In the end, my parts were small and light, so I had them posted.

Hutzul was just starting out IIRC, but was shipley/keighley way. Might be worth sketching exactly what you want so that people could see whather they have the means to make it.
