As the title folks, have any of you got one and what do you think? Is it pretty precise?
My current mitre saw (makita ls1013) sees virtually no use as its too friggin heavy to lug around, if I had a functioning workshop then I'd keep it as a stationary machine but that's not happening any time soon so time to sell it on and get something else.
The metabo is supposed to be around 16kg which I guess is nearly half of what the ls is. Only single bevel but I'm quite happy to trade that for a saw that's actually going to be used
All other 10" saws seem to be in the 20kg plus range (baring the green and black unicorn), if this 254 is not much cop I might have to go down to an 8" saw - which I guess will be ok for 75% of things I cut but annoying useless for the rest.
In wonder.
