Hi all

I have just taken delivery of a Plano and I have a question.

When putting say three, or four boards, in the Plano do you need to clamp the edges first, using a separate (non-Plano) clamp, to ensure that you've pulled the boards together? I hope I've explained myself clearly.

Thanks, in advance,
Neil

I'm not sure I understand the question correctly, but if I have, the answer is no. You just put the boards in the plano cramps, and tighten them up - as you do that they pull the boards together top to bottom and side to side so they are aligned.

I sometimes stick another cramp right on the end of the assembly if it is sis a long one which is sticking out of the press by more than 10cm or so, just to make sure that the end is cramped up tight (top to bottom), but that's it.

Hi Jake

Thanks, you've answered it for me. It was top to bottom that I was interested in.

Cheers,
Neil
