I think this seems like a great idea, and if available in the UK would buy one at £26, but don't want to then pay the £33 delivery on top that the USA based site wants to send to the UK.
It's the first item reviewed in this video.
Is there anything similar?
 
if I lived back in Colchester I'd make u one.....
pretty sure u could make one from a decent hardwood...
the hardened steel guides would be a bonus but they are easy to make so when the drill wears the wood a bit just make a new one.......

Yes that was my thoughts pretty exactly, but a nice idea to angle the dowels. Seems to combine dowels and pocket holes in one!
