Get your mind out the gutter, not that type of wood! Saw a few interesting bits and bobs whilst away, thought I'd share them
Seen through a window late on the last evening, wish i could have seen it when the gallery was open. The photo does no justice to how amazingly realistic the bag looked, the fluidity of the curves in the leather etc. At 3k euros you'd expect something special tho! Couldn't see the carver but a bit of googling and I think it is Livio De Marchi.
There have been a few posts on here about door construction, saw this door and it raised so many questions about how you would make it fit, cut the tenons etc etc.
