I have recently been given a Prima Klima extractor fan with a possibility of a couple more if I can find a use for them.

Its very quiet and will circulate the air in my workshop 4 times an hour which I believe is about right(although any amount is a help really)
My questions are...
Can I use a car air filter panel on it or would that reduce airflow too much?
Would it need a pre filter?
Would it/another one be suitable to be used as a dust/chip collector if used in conjunction with a cyclone?
If yes, is it possible to reduce to collection pipe to 4" or 3" or would that put too much strain on it.
It circulates @ 220m3 and 360m3 depending on speed setting.
Apologies if these are questions that get asked a lot. I searched through old posts but couldn't fine a definitive answer.
