I make a lot of wardrobes, fitted out alcoves and cupboard doors. I slice up MR MDF with my track saw and then cut them accurately to size on my current table saw.

thing is, it takes ages to get the saw into position and set up......its just the set up and amount of room i have.

So, i'm looking for another solution. A small table top/bench saw that i can easily throw about and get ready to start sizing up my rails and stiles etc.

It would need to have a decent fence or one that can be modified so that it doesn't move once fixed in position. I'm only looking to spend a couple of hundred pounds.

It would be good to get a saw that i can easily cart around to jobs with me but dont fancy one of the big site, collapsable saws.

lets see what you lot think :)

I used my TS55 and guide rails to accurately cut the veneered MDF panels for all my kitchen units.

No need for a table saw.

I want something quicker though.

I use my TS55 when I need to but I want a small and accurate table saw as well hence the question
