Advice on finnishing

Hi all quick question,

i'm working on a project part of it has chestnut food safe oil, the other has chestnut hard wax oil, no food will touch the item and now i have the depth of colour on the parts i put the food safe oil on, can i put Hard wax oil over the food safe oil?

Thanks for any advice given.

You should be Ok but try it on a small out of the way area first.
