The other one I really liked, but this I love :) looks much more homely and less clinical .... I know that's down to the clients taste.

Again, beautiful and it looks fantastic quality

Thanks for the comments.
Personally I'm not a fan of the big American fridges, I prefer using tall integrated fridges and freezers.

Same as the other one isn't it? Spot the difference? Dull, timid, safe.
Needs a bit of colour IMHO.
The Shakers used colour a lot, not just beige and off-white!

Colour is coming back into fashion - the current Tate show will have a lot of influence I think. It's odd that so many people are frightened of it.

How to paint a door.

Very nice....how odd, I was just asking if anyone used face frames any more :) Out of interest, what wood did you use for the face frames and whats the name of the hinge used for the cupboard doors by the sink (because from the photo it looks like they're still invisible).

Do I therefore assume they're still Euro style rather than traditional hinges but they've got that clever cantilever action that allows the opening door to miss the frame members?

If so, whats the proper name (model) for that type of hinge please?

I rather like the colour actually....its neutral sure...but also calming and fits very well with the original cottage oak joists exposed. I've always liked neutral colours with oak joists because it helps the wood to "leap" out at you. More bold colours would "push" the wood away because they're vibrancy grabs more of the viewers attention.

Great job

What colour? I see no colour.
Neutral and calm - is it for an old folks home? Shades of porage, a touch of cocoa, with toast highlights? Gravestone surfaces with hints of ash?
Bobby Sands?

Thanks Jacob, do you think I should wrestle the next customer when they ask for white or would it be best to ring you up and ask what colour you want it?

Your comments reassure me that I have upset you by questioning your mental stability in the past.

Yes it's best to keep on top of them. When they realise how dull and ordinary it is they might wonder why you didn't suggest anything else - could be "maybe we should have had Bobbos magenta and green colour scheme, he's very imaginative" etc etc.
or would it be best to ring you up and ask what colour you want it?
Good idea.
