Hi,
I was looking at sedgwick MB P/T’s
For a bit more they do a 410 x 230 which has a 3kw motor.
Is this OK on domestic mains.?
I was under the impression 2.2kw was the maximum.
My extractor has 2.2kw, so total of 2.2 + 3.0 kw = 5.2 kw off the mains.?

Thx
Howard

It will be fine on domestic but you will likely need to have it on a dedicated circuit. My compressor is 3kW and has it's own 16amp circuit and B type MCB. I run it alongside a 750W extractor all the time.
Remember, an electric shower will often be 8-10kW and runs fine.

Thanks very much for the explanation, electrickery is a blind spot for me.
The extra cut width would be very useful I reckon
