25% for returns ????????????

I buy a lot from Hafele but yesterday received my parcel and discovered that I had ordered the wrong socket size Blums (40mm instead of 35mm)
unfortunatley had already drilled 160 holes.
So phone 'em up and please replace says I.
No they say, you reorder and pay again then send incorrect ones to Rugby and you pay postage(fair enough) oh and by the way there's a 25% returns charge.
What a crock of ****.
Don't mind say 10% but these will be re-sold, so I guess double profit to Hafele.
Nice one Hafele, I will of course remember you when ordering in the future.

Unfortunately, Dom, Hafele are not alone. I find that many suppliers charge between 15% and 25% for returns, and will only credit me when they see the goods. One of the bugbears of dealing with trade outfits at trade prices, I'm afraid.

It is frustrating, but overall I think Hafele are a good company, Hettich do better quality hinges by the way in my opinion.
