Getting very confused!!!!!

Should I convert my 3 Phase saw with a 240v to 415V Inverter or should I use a 240V to 240V 3 phase Inverter??? #-o #-o #-o

First a question in answer to your question.

Is the existing motor Dual voltage capable.? I.E does it have 3 or 6 terminals in it's connection box and is it's rating plate marked 240/415 Volt or similar.

For the for & against for either option a read of Bob Minchin's very good Induction Motor PDF. should answer most aspects of the differences in approach.

I am told the motor is dual voltage but as yet have not seen it!!!!

Bob's induction motor piece is brilliant, many thanks Bob

Great Help CJ

You should be able to contact bob on the email address in the document and he might be able to sort out an inverter for you.
