Hi all. I’m new here. Just bought my 1st panel saw today. I fit kitchens and bedrooms daily and been having a loca company supply to me for a while now but decided I’m going to start making my own cabs now. So bought this today. Ideally wanted a bigger one but space is abit of a premium in my workshop so this will have to do. Does any one here also own this saw? Iv bought it of a kitchen company who used it as the same thing so I’m hoping it will be suitable. It has a slight problem with the rise and fall on the scribes blade but I’m sure it’s a easy fix. Thanks.

Not familiar with this saw, but are you aware that it may be 3 phase, looking at the cable connected.

I have it’s big brother the SI15F. If it’s anything like mine you will be absolutely delighted. I’ve found SCM UK to be extremely helpful. There are two other sources of manuals, the first which is free is
https://www.partspronto.com/Shop/DownloadManuals.aspx
This morning when I tried the link it wouldn’t open....not sure why. It’s where I got my copies of the manuals from. It has all SCM and MiniMax machine manuals
The other is Scott Sargent which is £5 for an electronic copy of the manual.

That’s great news deema thanks for that. Ideally I wanted a 3.2 panel saw like yours but I thought this should be ok to get me off the ground. Thank you very much for the user manual. Much appreciated. I pick it up next week so will let you know how I get on setting it all up square and straight

Its worth setting the machine level.

That way the the sliding bearings are ewually loaded hrlping smooth travel.

Replace the timber insert if worn, or you will find small offcuts going down and going bang. Its those offcuts that causes the blade to deflect enough to take a chomp out of the sliding table edge.

Square the fence by trimming up a big bit of mdf, say 900mm square.

Trim one face. Put that face to the fence do 1 cut, then turn keeping original face against fence. Do another trim cut. Then check to see if your piece is parallel, front n back.
