what do you use for micro adjustment for router fences?

http://woodgears.ca/table_saw/fence_micro.html I know it's not cheap and only works on cast iron tops but it sure is accurate. Brian

    Triton after sales service

I think that was the warning issued earlier. It is extremely dangerous to use the wrong collet. Firstly a 1/2" cutter won't fit a 12mm collet and a 1/4" won't go in a 6mm one but if you reverse the sizes, you'll never do them up tightly enough. I've long planned to make this change with my TRA...

    Triton after sales service

The collet system on the larger Triton router is perhaps its only weakness. Ray Girling gives a good comparison between the two and it is clear that the two are not interchangeable. http://www.raygirling.com/triton14.htm The larger machine is described as having a Hitachi style system so it...

You can cut them into 9" sections with an angle grinder, reverse alternate strips so the teeth point in the opposite direction, put say 6 of them together and bind the ends with insulating tape. You can use this as a flexible scraper for removing old paint or varnish in preparatory work. Because...

    Broken Collet Extension

If the extension is even a little bit out in machining it will introduce a huge wobble in such a large bit, even at 10,000rpm. Potentially very dangerous, not to mention lethal. Is the bit one that cuts horizontally or vertically? Re the hole: Is it that you don't have an insert disc the right...

    Clarke table saw CTS10PLM

First thing to check is that the motor is actually working. Remove the blade including the inner and outer flanges fitted either side of the blade. Switch on briefly to check that the arbor rotates. If it doesn't you should check the brushes to see if they are in good condition. Use your manual...
