    Startrite 301 compared to RP BS350-X ?

I bought my RP BS350 from TSC - it's not a brilliant machine (I had trouble with the blade tensioner) but it's pretty good. Tewkesbury were very helpful when I blunted a blade far too quickly while resawing 4" English oak. The guy really knew what he was talking about, advised me on the right...

I've had a Record power BS350 for six months now, got it from Tewkesbury Saw Co. Blade tensioning was a mystery till I gave it no mercy - fine now. Re-sawed 5" English Oak which ate the 3/4" blade that was thrown in on purchase with four others. Tewkesbury then supplied me with a 1" blade for...

    Triton router spares supply problem?

Thanks Ray - your comment that the MOF001 is quite adequate for kitchen worktops persuades me that I should go for it. As for spares, let's hope I don't need any.

    Triton router spares supply problem?

Thanks for the link - very good price for the TR001 but no router spares featured on the website. The spares section is full of accessories only. Their price for the TR001 is unbeatable but I'm dithering over TR or MoF001 - worried that the big one will be too heavy for handheld work.

    Triton router spares supply problem?

Yes he had a TR001 on show but recommended the big Hitachi. Trouble is I don't want my workshop populated with things that look as if they've come out of a 1980s sci fi film! It might be a good router but I'd throw up every time I picked it up.

    Triton router spares supply problem?

I was about to buy a Triton router today but a guy in a shop said getting spare parts was" not just difficult - a nightmare". Anyone any views? I haven't bought yet. Cheers

    Forum users' Table saws

I've been waiting a lot of years for this! Just had a workshop and double garage built so I'm busy setting up. This is semi-retirement and I reckon I've got enough years left in me to make some the things my grown-up kids might like to inherit. Trouble is they're placing their orders and I've...

    Forum users' Table saws

I've just bought a Jet JTS250 - delighted with it except for: a) the width of the thing! I'm going to have to cut down the rear fence support rail if not the front fence rail. b) the mitre fence. The mitre fence is great when setup and running on the sliding table but it's clumsy to adjust...
