    Fastening a table top ?

    Is it OK to use pocket hole screws to fasten a table top to the frame, or do I use the wooden clip type things I've seen Norm use on the NYW ? The timber I'm using is pine. I wondered if the pocket hole screws would be too rigid to allow enough for movement between the table top and the frame...
