Convert Pillar Drill Table To Geared

I have an old Fobco pillar drill which I like just about everything about, bar the fact it has a standard bolted table. I'd like to convert it to a geared table and I'm not sure how to best go about it. Does anyone know where I could order such a drill table, and the geared track?

    Light Milling on Pillar Drill

I have a Fobco Universal MT2 pillar drill and would like to perform light milling with this machine. I have a compound vice and a 16mm Charnwood lathe chuck, and I know that I'll need a new MT shank suitably hollowed for milling, but I'm not sure what other bits to look at for the cutter. Indeed...

    Bed bars for Record Coronet

I'm going to run the risk of using scaffold bars as the bed bars for my recently aquired Record Coronet 1, and wondered if anyone has done this before. Options for phase conversion single to dual

I have a Fobco pillar drill that I'm trying to get working in a home setup (single phase). The motor 1HP, dual phase (415/230) and has a terminal block (pictured below) which boggles my mind. The 3 input wires are connected to 1L1, 3L2 and 5L3 respectively. I'm not sure what options are...

    Fobco Universal MT Drill Assembly

Has anyone serviced a Fobco pillar drill? I'm trying to remove the top cover to access the switch wiring and feel as though I'm missing something. I was guessing that a good clout from the rear would do the trick. I don't want to clout it any harder right now.

Info on Smith Planer & Startrite 18-T-10

I've just bought an old Smith Planer and I'm trying to find its weight first of all, so that I can get it shipped: It would be nice to find a manual/reference or a link to someone who knows about these machines, but I'm not finding much on the manufacturer thus far. It has 'exico' written...

    Transparent hide glue?

I'm new here. Hiya! What's the clearest variety of hide glue in your experience? I want to use the next batch i buy as a filler as well as just glue, like i have done successfully with the stuff i have now, which dries with a brown colour. I have a bit of gap filling to do on some ash stock...
