Cheap printer server compatible with Windows 10?

Hmm, I thought I'd tried that, Woody, but it's possible I left out a step. Will try again this afternoon.

Cheap printer server compatible with Windows 10?

At work we have an old Samsung laser printer/fax (SCX-4623F) which I have no intention of getting rid of until it breaks. However, it is not Wifi or network compliant and we now have 2 computers in the shop which we would like to print off. I was on the point of buying this for 16.99 on ebay...

Where can I get a 100mm self adhesive vertical metric rule?

Where do you find these things? I spent ages looking on Ebay! That also looks as though it would fit the bill Deadeye, and more affordable than the Richter ones....

Where can I get a 100mm self adhesive vertical metric rule?

Ahhh, I knew you lot would come up with some answers! I hadn't thought of a planer thicknesser scale and those look perfect! The problem with the thin stainless steel rules which were my first thought is that they tend to have the first 10mm in half millimetres and as that is the part that we...

Where can I get a 100mm self adhesive vertical metric rule?

ScaredyCat, that would be perfect if it was vertical. I can't seem to find a vertical one on the Kreg site, seems strange they don't make one when they have al the other varieties.

Where can I get a 100mm self adhesive vertical metric rule?

I need to replace the scales on a pottery slab roller. There is one on each side, they are very flimsy label types and have worn considerably. They need to measure around 10cm, and read from bottom to top, and it would be better if they were only scaled in whole millimetres. Any one know...

    Recommendations of builders near Alfreton?

Good morning! My niece has just bought a house near Alfreton, doesn’t know anyone in the area and needs to put in a new bathroom. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who could perform this work?

    Bandsaw struggling

Hmm, you couldn't have hit a nail at the beginning of the cut, could you? That happened to me the other day, ruined a nearly new blade., and it took me a while to figure out what had happened. (Which reminds me, I need to order another one.) Another thought. When we used to resaw old joists...

Where to buy outdoor slab cushions

I'm quite sure the cushions are made to measure, we sell a lot of garden furniture and often the cushions are optional, they offer them in lots of different fabrics and specific to each model. Sitefive is right, you can buy the foam and the fabric and make them yourself, or get them made; I...

    Adapting keyless chuck?

Aha, i was wondering about that, it's so long since i saw a normal keyless chuck that I can't remember what they look like. Maybe I'll leave it as it is, then. Seems a shame not to butcher the broken Makita for some of its parts, though.

    Adapting keyless chuck?

Good evening everybody, I've just bought a load of drills because we had 3 drill disasters in a week, and I was wondering whether it would be possible to put a keyless chuck from a broken Makita 8391 DWPE 18v cordless drill onto a Dewalt corded drill DWD014K. Or do cordless drills have...

Accentuating quilted maple without darkening appearance

I've never tried to finish a musical instrument, but if the sanding dust is obscuring the grain perhaps using a cabinet scraper would work?

    Ooops

My brother lived in a block of 8 flats in Harrow, there was a separate block of 8 garages behind. All the garages were like Benchwayzes, you could get the car into the garage but you couldn't then get out of the car. Said garages were getting a little bit dilapidated so they decided to get...

    Total beginner advice

If you really have no idea the best way to start out (in my opinion) is to go to an evening class - if they still exist.......Invent a project that you want to make and then you will be led through the processes necessary to accomplish it. The first thing I ever made, at an evening class, was a...

    Can you work hardened steel?

Thanks everyone. The mill seems to be an unusual one, I haven't been able to find spare rollers so far. At the moment the pitting doesn't bother me because I hammer the metal after it's been through the rollers, but I can envisage a time when I will want them to be completely smooth. Might...

    Can you work hardened steel?

Hi everyone, I've just bought a second hand rolling mill which was very cheap.....but the rollers aren't completely smooth, they seem to be slightly pitted, possibly from old rust. My question is, if I remove the rollers and take them to the steel workshop round the corner, would they be able...
