Pulled the cap which sits behind the switch rather than on the motor on this saw. Well at least it will be a cheap fix. The table can be seen in the background of the last pic in the first post ;) There's no fence though.

yes, that's what I mean. Seems easy enough just to remove the rear jaw which is then easy to handle/attach to the bench first. I was asking if there's a reason why people are doing it 'the hard way'? ;)
