Here's a picture of an original (4) sized blade and the new (4) blade.
Old blade on bottom/left , new on the top/right. Different tooth sizes, and even though the older (bottom/left) is used and has smaller teeth it outlasts the newer version with bigger teeth. The new just seem to readily snap
Hi,
Is anyone else finding the Pebeco blades not lasting and snapping very easily?
Having used them for years the quality over the last 18months seems to have really dipped. Cuts that would previously take 1-2 blades can be taking upto 12!! Saw is exactly the same and so is tension

There's two new style cyclone extractors in the 2014 catalogue, not sure they're online yet.
Have the option to have HEPA style 0.3 micron filters. Very tempted for my own workshop!

Buffing was what I mainly need it for, as if you have the lathe running a bowl mop and running for a considerable time, it will eventually move! Also can't use the tailstock as support if it for one of the dome shaped buffing mops.

Also anyone have any details on where to find one or is it a DIY job? Have seen one at Peter Child's website but that's it!
Cheers

Hi,
Looking for some recommendations of books, or DVD /websites for info on Box-Making and for info on Veneering.
Pretty much from beginner level, have done a fair amount of turning but not any cabinet work or veneering.
Just something I'm interested in looking into and thought a nice book...
These are comfy and adjustable with a padded foam surround against the face, that allows a more consistent fit that the other semi-disposable masks and less sweaty than the rubberized 3M cartridge types.
Thanks very interesting!
Did you ever find a decent comparison table that shows the efficiency of the filter at different grades? Found one that shows percentage efficiency at 0.4microns but doesn't show all the gradings, but noticed that your had over 95% efficiency at F9. Not gonna get much...
