    Took a polished marble place setting and feeler gauges 5 thou slips under in parts on both. They are both razer sharp and going to try them later in the week.

    Hi Matt there is a faint mark, appears to be a circle but only letters I can make out is 'field' on the circumference could be end of Sheffield. but that's all.

    Aldi chisels are good value only£8-99 but good value. Mine have stayed sharp and have been really hammered. Also just now have drill bit sets for £7-99 German made and carbide tipped.

    Thanks for quick reply Pete. The wife has put her foot down regarding using her Dyson :lol: I am trying to decide on buying the bag or putting the money towards something like a Henry hoover.

    I have acquired a Festool EHL65EQ planer from the local pawn shop. The chip collector bag is a bit expensive, so before I buy has anyone used one are they worth the expense. I would be grateful of any help. Regards Charlie.

    Joint Genie

    Just purchased Joint Genie. Seems a good solid jig but the finish lets it down, to many sharp edges and corners. Can't wait to try it out.

    Mechanic says needs to take exhaust off and he can get at it. Hope he's right and not you. :roll:
