    PP worktop jointing

I don't do much kitchen fitting but have done a few mitre joints on post formed worktops in the past. Looking at some PP worktops, the square edged ones with the thick factory applied plastic edging strip. Do people do a shallow 10mm mitre when doing a corner joint? Just I saw one where they had...

Reducer for 120mm Hammer dust port

I used one of these https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p99431?table=no and some tape on my hammer P/T seems to work ok. Been on a year. I've got a cuff on the hose so I can move it from machine to machine.

    Help plese, Trend airshield pro.

I used [email protected] when I had this problem. They then contacted me asking for serial number details, presumably to check it was the known problem batch. Once supplied they sent a new one with return bag for the old one. Gav

Trend Airshield Pro - a heads-up on the headband

How opportune mine snapped today and I've only used it a few times. The original model I have has stood up to loads of use. I only upgraded so I could use ear defenders easier. I must admit I prefer the balance/feel of the older model. I shall contact trend next week. Gav

    Terminating an electric cooker

I believe soldering is not recommended for flex terminals as the soft solder can creep/cold flow and become loose on its own. Gav

    Economy 7

From what I've read, to make economy 7 viable as you pay a higher day rate, then a minimum 30% of your usage of electricity has to be on the lower rate.

    polyduct electrical ducting

Hi, I have to get my electricity supply moved and need a short length (approx. 3 metres) of polyduct 32mm id electrical duct. I wondered if anyone had an offcut they might be willing to sell/trade as I didn't want to buy the smallest roll I can find of 25metres and be stuck with most of the...
