    Workshop/tool insurance

I couldn’t find anybody who would cover mine for a reasonable price (timber frame, close to a river etc.) other than Blackfriars Insurance Brokers - Chartered Insurance Brokers in the UK

    Wilson Rip Saw

I'm lucky enough to have a proper 3 phase supply so no issues with powering it. Depth of cut is about 6.5" which sadly isn't quite enough for some of the timber I have to cut.

Dewalt Radial Arm Saw? Will it rotate to 90 degrees

I've never had any issues ripping with a RAS either. Really small bits of timber can be tricky but anything with a bit of weight is fine.

    Workshop insurance

Thanks for the replies so far. The fact it isn't a business seems to rule out business insurance and the fact it isn't next to my house rules out domestic insurance. I'll give a broker a go.

    Hand forged T hinges

I bought the 'worked' hinges from Pastiron and for the price I think they are pretty good and compare reasonably well with 'proper' old T hinges I have. Their D handles are very good.

Timber Mill has moved! - www.thetimbermill.com

You could try East Brothers in West Dean. They prefer large orders but will sell small amounts if you give advanced notice. Prices are pretty good.
