i went with the american shop. cost me £35 for 5 with postage so I think I may have had the rough end. I will post up a pick of my openers when I have the design right.
Greg I got it from the good guys at Yandles for around £19 plus delivery of around £6. I know I could probably buy one cheaper hahaha.
That looks far beyond my skill level hahaha.
Steve Ill give the book a look thankyou. I was gonna burn some writing into it but chickened out lol

Thought I would make a "Major League Baseball" fan friend of mine a present. I downloaded the correct specs and went about sourcing some decent timber. Luckily the gentleman at Yandles were most helpful getting me a piece of 3x3x36" Maple.
Here are a few pics of its stages and the final product.
Boom that will do nicely!!! Sorry my whimsical bottle openers are now annoying you though hahaha!!
I only wanted 3 or 4 and I got inspiration from a German Woodturner who put me intouch with his stockest but they are German based and their UK site is under construction so may just be patient...
Thanks for this also Bob. The pics look like they are not mine though I can assure you these are pics of my work taken from inside workshop and in my kitchen haha.
I was told by you guys to move away from Dog Bowls and work on my tool finish and so this is what I have done. Hopefully I can...
When I say "Hi" you say "Jack!!"

Since my last post I've worked more on my tool work and started finishing my pieces with Sand Sealer and Microcrystalline Wax. I love the finish I get with it.
Again these are just practice pieces. I have no visions of selling my work and most of this stuff just goes on a shelf in my workshop...
My Google-Fu has let me down and I am turning once again to the experts on here. Do any of you guys and gals know where I can buy these bottle opener parts from in the UK???
Thankyou in advance

Thank you mate. I tend not to think about a design and just make but the medal holder I had actual scrap sketches with actual rulers and compasses to work out how the multi plane turne would work haha.
I'm gettin confused with remarks to sanding sealer and oil. I thought you couldn't use them...
Dalboy I really appreciate that. The only critics I've had is family and they never find any wrong hahaha. It's good to take advise from those who do it proper.
Everything I make is practice, I refuse to do projects for anyone as my quality needs to improve. I have cut my own ash blanks which...
Damn those eagle eyes!! I thought I had hidden it haha. Yes my finish cut with the chisels is very sloppy and I try and make the sandpaper do to much work. I got a scrapper attachment with the hollowing tool so will get used to using that more.
Really appreciate the advise and feedback Rick...
Guys have to say sorry for not being very active since my first post asking for help. I took on board all the comments and went and purchased a Record SC4. Thakyou guys!!! WOW my options have opened up. Ive also started replacing my chisels one by one from the 10 pack starter set from Charlies...
