Festool Domino tenons

Do the loose tenons used in the Festool Domino system swell when glued into place like normal biscuits ?
Will they stay stable in long term storage without needing to keep them in a very dry environment ?

no, i have seen tests where they are soaked but don't expand.

They do expand, but only very slightly, if they have been in a humid environment they will be slightly harder to fit, do not use them for test fits.

It is worth lightly sanding down a few in each size just to keep for test fitting, drill a hole in each end and they can be threaded onto a string for safe keeping, you can also use the hole to give you more purchase to pull them out of a joint if they become stubborn.
